TOP Sport Football & Soccability- CURRICULUM
FA Top Sport Football and Soccability is a partnership between The FA and the YST. The FA have invested £6million into providing quality footballing opportunities for 7-11 year olds within the National Curriculum.

Is it for me? Primary and Special School teachers attend a 4 hour training course on how to deliver football as part of the National Curriculum PE Programme.
How much does it cost? Courses are provided by the Local Education Authority and co-ordinated by the Birmingham County FA. Development Scheme.
Every Teacher who attends the training receives six footballs, resource cards and a set of Tops Mini-Soccer Goals that break down into 6 target goals.

Already 13 courses have taken place within the Birmingham FA region, training over 200 teachers. The interest and resulting feedback has been extremely positive. This is an exciting initiative and indicates how committed the FA are into providing for grassroots football.
TOP Sport Football & Soccability- COMMUNITY

This initiative ensures children have a continued opportunity to develop their love of the game outside of the school P E programme. The Birmingham County FA Development Scheme has an implimentation plan to link schools football with local clubs in order to carry out extra-curricular football for all youngsters.
Various organisations and group leaders within the community can qualify for TOP Sport Football & Soccability training, benefitting from the same resources upon completion of the course. Contact us to see if you qualify.
