MASO POLI
Mention of self contained farms - a 'Maso' - is chronicled back to the 13th Century. This 'Maso' was purcheased by Antonio and Giovanni Poli in 168, hence the name. The current owners are luigi and Maria Luisi Tegn whose families have a long tradition in wine making and who continue to make their Maso Poli wines by traditional methods with no chemical fertilisers. The vinyard covers 16 hettares.

It does not have the roughness that some of the other wines made from the same grape outsode Burgundy, but has good body, flavour and would be rated very favourablt with some of the best Burgundies. |
