Cantine Borgo Canale is a young company formed in the 1980's by a group of long established quality grape growers in the Pirro Channel in the Itria Valley. The grapes are hand picked and no chemicals are used to correct the characteristics of the wine - only careful management by the oenologists.

1989 A subtle ruby red wine with a slight orange tint. This wine is made from Primitive, Negramaro and Aglianco grapes and is aged in oak casks for a minium of two years. |
COLLI della MURGIA
These vinyards are run according to the strich rules and under the the constant supervision of the Italian Association of Organic Agriculture and are therefore truly 'organic wines'.

1994 This is a warm ruby red wine with the full flavours of forest fruits and wild cherries. The gradual fermentation of the Aglianico and Sangiovese grapes produce a wine to compete with the great wines of Italy. |

| ERBACEO 1993/4 Erbaceo is a blend of Malvasiam Chardonnay, Trebbiano and Moscato which produce and organic white wine which is mellow and dry. |
