Carers Rights Day 2007 - 7th December Thousands of people looking after sick or disabled relatives at home in the Winchester and Andover areas may be missing out on vital support that might help them to juggle work and care or just make life easier. The Winchester and Andover Carer Centre is one of more than 800 groups across the UK taking part in Carers Rights Day, a national awareness day organised by Carers UK.  The aim of the day is to inform carers of the rights, benefits and services available and any important recent changes to these. To celebrate Carers' Rights Day the Winchester and Andover Carer Centre will be hosting an Information Day in Andover between 10am -12.30pm at The Bridge, in Bridge Street, Andover with coffee and pastries. In Winchester there will also be an Information Day between 10am to 3pm to include an informal Christmas buffet lunch.
