This small terraced cottage combines a good deal of charm and character with a pleasant and peaceful East Yorkshire coastal village location.

Aldbrough is situated in the vale of Holderness, 12 miles north of the City of Hull, a short drive from the historic town of Beverley, and 7 miles south of Hornsea.  The village of Aldbrough is served by a range of

local shops, an excellent fish & chip shop, 3 public houses serving traditional home cooked food, a sports hall, there is a limited bus service, and for those wishing to take an excursion from the village, there is a private coach operator offering a list of destinations.

The cottage is located just a short walk from all local amenities, to the east of the village church. The church was built mainly in the Norman style with evidence of Saxon architecture around the windows and doors, inside the church can boast the tomb of Sir John de Melsa, a 6’6 warrior of great note, he was Governor of York from 1292-1296.

The village is surrounded by open fields with no shortage of interesting walks, and the cottage is located approximately one mile from the sea, offering a sheltered beach at low tide.  From spring to autumn caravaners visit regularly, and the caravan park social club offers many evenings of entertainment throughout the season.
