The item below is a block of 'stamps' that I acquired recently, supposedly as revenue stamps. I actually think that these are (trade) union stamps, probably used to denote payment of union dues. Given the high value of the stamps (5s) I can only assume that this represented annual dues.

If anybody has any information on these stamps, please let me know.
