VINEYARD PARK
A VINEYARD OF VINTAGE PROPORTIONS.
Tenterden Vineyard Park was established in 1977 and, since the first vintage, has been
making Award Winning Wines. As well as producing wine from the 15 acres of vines at
Tenterden, it has been the home of ‘Chapel Down Wines’ since 1995.
The largest producer of English sparkling wine and one of the top
two English Vineyards, we supply wine to many of the major supermarkets and clients as
diverse as British Airways and the Houses of Parliament.
GUIDED TOURS
Those wishing to visit the winery and discover more about the wine making process should
join a guided tour. Guided tours run daily throughout the summer season (Easter to the end
of October) and last for up to an hour, during which time an experienced guide will
explain some of the secrets of our red, white and sparkling wine production. To complete
the experience, guided tours include a free tasting from a selection of Tenterden and
Chapel Down Wines. We welcome Group Tours (minimum 10 people) by prior arrangement and can
organise half or full day itineraries with other local tourist attractions. Telephone for

PLANT CENTRE
Our Plant Centre offers a full range of quality plants including over 100 varieties of
herbs, many of which can be seen in situ in the Herb Garden.
HERB GARDEN
Our well established Herb Garden has a full and varied range of
medicinal, culinary and cosmetic plants. Stroll around and take in the sights, sounds and
scents of this unique part of the Kentish countryside.
THE WINE GIFT SHOP
The Vineyard has a well stocked shop where visitors can purchase our complete
selection of wine and enjoy free tasting, plus unusual gifts, local produce and crafts,
wine accessories and house plants.
GRAPEVINE CAFÉ - TIME FOR A BREAK !
Situated on the first floor, the Grapevine Café offers freshly prepared local produce
at affordable prices. In the summer months visitors can enjoy the stunning views from our
south facing sun terrace. Group bookings are available by prior arrangement and we will be
happy to cater for your individual requirements. We also have a ground floor with
observatory and toilet facilities, allowing us to welcome less able-bodied visitors.
Our spacious first floor function room can cater for up to 80 people
and is ideal for private parties. Please call for further details.
A WELCOME FOR THE CHILDREN
A day out at Tenterden Vineyard Park is a family day out and children are always
welcome.
Our Play Area is designed to ensure that there is something for all
the family. Placed close to the shop and Grapevine Café, it allows parents to relax and
enjoy their surroundings whilst the children happily play.
AROUND AND ABOUT TENTERDEN
Tenterden Vineyard Park is ideally situated to explore trhe surrounding towns and
villages, Ashford (with its cross-Channel link), Biddenden, Hastings, Rye, Sissinghurst
and Cranbrook are all within a 30 minute drive. Tunbridge Wells and Dover are about an
hour’s drive. Take the time to visit the National Trust’s Ellen Terry Museum,
which is literally just three minute walk away. Tenterden, a lovely Wealden town in the
heart of Kent, is home to the Kent & East Sussex Steam Railway and has a wealth of
antique shops tea rooms and public houses to enjoy.

From the west end of Tenterden High Street at the William Caxton public house, take
the B2082 road to Wittersham and Rye for about 3 miles. Tenterden Vineyard Park will be
