The Parish Registers.

I am preparing an Index for each of the Registers, the present state of each is indicated. If you would like me to look up a name on an Index please contact me. roger.meyrick@dial.pipex.com

    Baptism            1614-1625&1667-1790&1813-1837&1853-1862 and 1870-1997. The Records from 1625 to1667 are badly damaged and unreadable. Between 1837 and 1853 only occasional entries have been made in the originals. I hope to complete 1790-1813 within the next six months. Done! just six months after I intended!! (11.00)

 

       Marriages

1669-1837& 1837-1978. Marriages between 1837 and 1978 are not available on microfiche. Entries between 1837 and 1856 are incomplete in the original.

Burials

Between 1660-1997 is now complete

 

Churchyard Memorials

An Index for memorials between 1632-1998 is complete

 

Transcription of Churchyard and Church Memorials

Still requires some further work on difficult headstones, all that could be are done but some remain unidentified. (06.2000)
