Someone has begun to make a snow man! The photograph of Smedley's Hydro in the snow also shows the winter garden; it was taken in the 1920s, possibly by the manager Mr. Harry Douglas. The spire belongs to the United Methodist Free Church that John Smedley built in the hydro's grounds. It was later converted into an engine house. |
