The Governors make a real difference in helping the school provide the best possible education for each for each and every one of its pupils. Together with the Head Teacher and the leadership team, they lead the school, setting the vision and establishing the right culture to drive forward improvements to ensure the best life chances are secured for every child.
Governing a school is a demanding job, but also an exciting one, especially now, with the Government’s wider Every Child Matters objectives of ensuring the children stay safe, are healthy enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well being. And of course these five outcomes for children are the bedrock of the new Ofsted inspection framework.
All governors can be contacted through the school office, parents governors are to be found in the playground most days at the start and finish of school.
