This
is a site for
fans of aviation airshow warbird aerobatics and military
aeroplane/airplane action with movie video clips with some photos -
well, screengrabs which you can also do with a Hauppage videocard. Feel free to watch and download these
videos I made myself - most are Windows Media Video files (wmv's)
so they should automatically load your player if you have
Windows 98 or XP etc. Right click and save to download and

Finding a home for these clips
has not proven so easy - I get a 50 meg allocation with
my ISP which does not let you store many clips. Also, there are some other videos
on 'The Filebin' but once again it's only 50megs...
worse, it only lets you put up 2 meg files due to some
bandwidth limit... hmmm. Oh well it is free so you can't
really complain. If anyone out there can help me store
these clips it will mean I can leave them up here.
Another ploy I used was to lodge them
with JFKTower but this excellent site changed and seems to be
down at the moment. So I am going to have to redo the links on
this site. What fun. So you see - if you want to show off your
vids it is a lot of work....

Video #1- F15E Take-off at Mildenhall Air Fete
While
inspecting various parked planes at the MAF a few
years ago - such as the Turkish AF F5 display team we
were pleasantly surprised by a stream take off by an
A10, F16 WW and F15E. Don't know which is most
impressive about this video, the pitch up and turn or
the awesome noise... here.

At the MAF we were
also thrilled by some maniacs aerobatting a Herc. Don't
know for sure which Air Force it was from but maybe
it was Sweden or USAFE. Most impressive was the pitch
down... sorry there's no sound this time... click...

Video #4 - Aviation on the TV - The RN Merlin Helicopter
One
of the few progs covering aviation on the box extracted
for the viewing pleasure of the multitude - a look at
the British Royal Navy's newest helicopter - the multi-role
Merlin flies along
the scenic south-cost near its home base at RNAS Culdrose.
This is lower quality but you get two minutes of video

Video #5 - Airshow Action - The RAF GR1 Tornado Blasts Off
One
of the best moments in aviation is the take-off of the
display aircraft. Here the multi-role
Tornado lights the
reheat and blasts down the runway at RAF Abingdon. This
is from an airshow video I bought to remind me of the
Open Days they used to run in the eighties and nineties.
I am digging out more analog tapes and will do some more
video clips as wmv soon. So please
