JEC is an independent practice,
providing services in landscape architecture, urban
design and environmental assessment. It was set up in
1996 by Jon Etchells, in the belief that clients’
interests can often be better served by a small,
responsive organisation with experienced staff, few
overheads and consequently very competitive rates.
Based in Letchworth, the world’s first Garden City, founded in 1903, JEC is a registered practice with the UK Landscape Institute, and carries full PI insurance - the philosophy is that the only thing our clients don’t receive is what they don’t need and shouldn’t pay for, namely the additional bureaucracy and corporate overhead that comes with a larger organisation. |
