Career History

June 2000 to January 2001 Quokka Sports, 133 Long Acre, London WC2E 9AD

My time at Quokka has primarily been spent working on the BMW Williams site for Compaq. Working with my creative director we produced and updated the site throughout the 2000 F1 season. I was responsible for creating all of the interactive content of the site, including 3D Flash gadgets of all the F1 circuits, an animated demo showing how Compaq contributes to the Williams team and a broadband Director piece giving you a front wing view of a Williams car as it drove round a test circuit. The most ambitious project for the site was a full 3D model of the Williams car that could be viewed online.

Other projects included producing mockups of web sites to show clients how their branding could work on our sites, designing various graphic elements for presentations and all Quokka’s emailable press invitations and cards.

March 1997 to May 2000 Planet Three Publishing, 10 Northburgh Street, London EC1V 0AT

Worked on At home with YOUR PC for IMP, from development stage to issue 50 of its UK launch by which point I had become Art Editor with a team of four working under me. Worked closely with editorial to devise many of the features. Also designed and oversaw production of the accompanying CD-Rom. Moved to the new media department in November 99 where I helped to produce the AHWYPC ISP site and web sites for other Planet Three publications including Percy's Park and I’m Online.

April 1996 - February 1997 Gong Publishing, Parsons Green, London

Worked with one other designer producing three pet titles and a consumer magazine similar to Which?. Soon after joining I became responsible for two of the titles.

September 1993 - March 1996 Clareville/HHL, 203 Eversholt Street, London

Started as a junior and progressed to designer on Kaleidoscope’s fashion catalogue. During my time there I was able to work on jobs for Philips, Wickes, Motorola and Barclays Merchant Services plus some work for Usborne books.
