Village Walk
The Parish Council is again organising a village walk on the afternoon of Sunday, June 13.  It will start at 2.0 p.m.from the south end of the recreation ground and, as before, finish in a village garden for light refreshments.  This is a very good time to enjoy our environment.  Keep the date free and enjoy our village footpaths and the company of many other villagers.  Further details of the walk will be in the June issue of the Community News.   Beryl Smart
.
Village Tidiness
Spring is here and now is a good time to take another look at the front of your property.  Are any of your hedges, shrubs or the lower branches of your trees encroaching on, or overhanging, the adjoining footpath ?  If so, please start trimming and remember that another Best Kept Village Competition will take place this month. ( See Beryl Smart's note following this.)
