LEARN BRIDGE
IN A WEEKEND! If
you are a quick learner why not crack the basics in a single weekend and then
spend future sessions actually playing! Learn Bridge in a Weekend is an
intensive course that assumes no prior knowledge. The course takes place on Saturday
and Sunday, 10.30am-5.30pm (both days). We use a venue in Earls Court, London
SW5. On
the course you will learn the basics of card play and bidding and by Sunday afternoon
you will play in your first small competition! You can come on your own or with
a partner, or bring a gang of friends or colleagues. The course is led by Ned
Paul, a qualified and experienced bridge teacher. This course has run successfully
on many previous occasions and is a great way to learn bridge. Course fee including
all documentation is £85.00. Next
scheduled dates:
- March 3rd/4th 2012(London SW5)
- Apr. 28th/29th 2012 (London SW5)
To
book email Ned for full details and
registration form or call or text 07792 715517. Further editions of the course
will be held throughout
2012.
BEGINNER REVISION DAY
You have done some lessons in the past, played a bit of kitchen bridge,
or played a long time ago and need a refresher opportunity. But if you claim to have forgotten everything - or never knew it in the first place - this could be the day for you!
Sunday morning there will be two tuition sessions - "Opening and Responding to 1NT" and "Opening and Opening and Responding to One of a Suit". These are the cornerstones of constructiive bidding - get these right and the rest starts to fall into place. Each session will be a combination of teaching and playing on-topic practice deals. Back up notes will be provided. Sunday afternoon will be a practice so you can use your knowledge to gain experience and build confidence.
I
am running this course on the following dates:
- Sunday February 19th 2012 (London SW5)
Course fee £25 (£22 if booked in advance). To
book email Ned for full details and
registration form or call or text 07792 715517. Further editions of the course
will be held during
2011. WEEKLY CLASSES We
also offer weekly classes, after which you will be encouraged to join one of supervised
practice groups. Come
on your own or with a partner. The courses are led by Ned Paul, a qualified and
experienced bridge teacher. If interested in future weekly classes please contact Ned Paul.
