Phil Solomon's CV

The following information was taken from PHIL'S CV, anything written in ittalics I have added.

PHIL SOLOMON DRUM TEACHER.
As a teacher of DRUMMING, Phil's methods are designed for the student drummer to make good progress in the shortest possible time span (this is of course only applicable to those students who practice in the suggested manner). These students will find that they wil enjoy strething their current knowledge still further to encompasss the pratical skills required f the modern performing drummer.

Many former students have decided to become professional (working) drummers, these musicians are in demand thoughout the U.K indeed some are becoming Internationally respected, these student fill the the drum chairs of bands and groups that cover the entire range of musical styles.

PHIL SOLOMON's tuitionmethods do NOT ffer "gimmicks" or "revolutionary new concepts" or even "high speed learning programs", thes things do not excist, PHIL however, does offer, organised, efficient systems that WORK and are relevant to current musical styles.

Drum teachers throught the U.K. have adopted the PHIL SOLOLMAN teaching methods as many ot them belive it to be "refreshingly different" "not boring" "gets results" "has good continuity" ect.,ect.,.

PHIL SOLOMON has written and has had published a series of Drum Tuition books. All of these books were published at the request of drummers and drum teachers who require good solid methods to improve their own (and their students) controll over a DRUM KIT. many teachers now recomend these books as essential study for their students.

A catalogue of the publications is availible on request, to the address below

PHIL SOLOMON also publishes a newsletter for DRUMMERS, this newsletter is called "DRUM STUDY", its totally free, issued 6 times a year, and you can obtain the latest copy bt sending a stamped addressed envolop to the address below. The "DRUM STUDY" leaflet is ullof practice tips and hints for drummers, exercises to develop various aspects of controll, contains articales sent in by leading teachers, and endeavours to keep the stuent drummer informed.
