Jason and the Band were recently contacted by VH-1 America with a view to featuring them on a programme to be shown across America on VH-1 in mid November. Jason was interviewed by LIZZ WINSTEAD at several places around London relevant to Gary's life, followed by a more in depth interview at the HQ Club in Camden Lock before filming the concert.
          
The shots here show the setup for the interview. The audience had to wait quietly (generally!) as the interview went on and various technical shots completed.

   
The shots of the interview and concert looked very impressive on the monitor - far better than these shots taken with an automatic camera. I elected not to take the video camera along this time so as not to get in people's way! The concert was hugely enjoyable, and it was a pity I had to leave early for my last train to the south coast! However, as I was leaving, and my taxi man waiting, I was asked by the director if they could film the back of my jacket, as it had a genuine 'Gary Numan' signature on it! Naturally I was honoured, and hope my cheesy grin doesn't hit the cutting-room floor with too much haste! (The signature was done by Gary the tour before last, and is aprized possession)
  
The whole VH-1 thing is a great break for Jason and the band and I hope a lot can come from it. More news as it happens here!
