My name is Charlie. I am a longhair miniature Dachshund or better known as a sausage dog. There are not many of us around but I love meeting other dachsies, especially the females!
I was born on 18th October 1998. My Mom and Dad had me from 20 months old. I used to live with my real father and lots of female dachsies which I enjoyed saying hello too. My first Mom and Dad were breeders but have now retired.
Mom and Dad have gradually found out that I am completely addicted to playing with toys, especially the squeaky ones. I can't get enough of them. I keep dragging Mom and Dad into our local pet store to see what new toys are for sale. I really look forward to Christmas where I get some new toys to add to my vast collection ( see photo ). I unwrap them myself too!
My Mom and Dad have also discovered that I am quite a quirky chap. I like to search and sniff around the garden that keeps me busy all day. I also like getting lots of fuss and once you start fussing me you better not stop otherwise you will get nosed by me!
I have lots of doggy friends who live nearby and I love meeting them on my walks. A special hello goes to Bob and Bertie ( see their website ) and Jasper.
