Campaign logo Price Survey

CAMRA’s annual prices survey shows that real ale is still cheaper than lager, with an average price of £2.06, compared with £2.25. Real ale prices have increased by 10p since last year, a hike of 4.2%, well above the rate of inflation.

And lucky for us, the North West is still the cheapest place in the UK for beer, the average price being £1.87 (the price of a pint of Jennings is £1.80 in Cockermouth). That compares with an average of £2.24 in London.
