Membership Challenge
CAMRA is the largest consumer organisation in the country, with over 72,000 members and rising. It has now set itself the challenge of reaching 100,000 by 2006. This will give the organisation a more powerful campaigning voice, with greater political weight, and more funds to put into campaigning activities.
CAMRA members are being asked to contribute by encouraging family friends and colleagues who care about beer and pubs to join up.
In West Cumbria our membership is also steadily growing, now standing at 125, with more people joining at our recent Whitehaven beer festival.
