West Cumbria CAMRA and Whitehaven Rugby League Football Club are set to brew a special one-off beer for the Whitehaven beer festival. The beer will be brewed at the Loweswater Brewery, in the Kirkstile Inn, under the guidance of brewer Matt Webster. One problem is to find a suitable name for the beer.

Chris de Cordova, festival organiser, is asking local people to come up with suggestions. ‘We will give two free festival tickets to the person who comes up with the winning name. Ideas so far are Dirty Tackle, Haven Pride, and Oddballs Bitter.
