organizations. The first phase of the project was launched on time and

carrying out an intensive change management engagement, we worked with a large business unit of BT defining and project managing the rationalization of existing learning platforms into one common platform, project managing all activities including gathering requirements and analysis of a new Learning Management System. We also carried out a review of the existing e-learning content in use, the design and development of a intranet site to improve user satisfaction and the specification / creation of an internal hosting environment . in overseeing the specification, development and rollout of J2EE applications
to distribute targeted corporate relations content to country Marcom managers,
industry analysts (Gartner, IDC etc) and the press in EMEA. The role involved
project management of internal / external resources and vendors, budgetary
management, process definition, IT Governance and the integration of country
web sites into the company's global news dissemination program which required
extensive communication with teams in the US, AsiaPac and Europe.

We were also heavily involved with the development and deployment of e-learning tools and technologies including the use of streaming video and Flash modules to distribute corporate training and communications. Global Designs were also involved in the development of Cisco's Global Training portals as well as developing a number of regional internal and external sites. We were also responsible for building up the E-Learning web team for Cisco in EMEA recruiting staff to specify, produce and distribute training across an Enterprise environment.
