PERSONAL NOTES AND OBSERVATIONS

This one,well...this one is my favourite CSNY album of all time. All four sides, or two if you have the CD!! I have, over the years and before the invention of the CD player, worn out two copies of the album through constant playing!!

Released 7th April 1971, this was to be the only live album the four ever recorded. At the time of mixing the album Stephen Stills wanted to overdub the vocals and then almost refused to put his name to it , but despite that Rolling Stone said it was "CSNY's best yet" and it topped the charts around the world.

In 1992 after years of waiting, fans were treated to a re-mastered version on two CDs. The new release also contained four never before heard tracks, one from each member of the group.

My favourite tracks on this album have to be "Triad" and "Right between the eyes". David Crosby and Graham Nash's vocal harmonies have never sounded better.
