Current Projects

We are currently working on the following major projects:

EMERGENCE

This is a major three-year project involving research in 22 countries, with core funding provided by the European Commission's IST (Information Society Technologies) Programme. The acronym stands for Estimation and Mapping of Employment Relocation in a Global Economy in the New Communications Environment. Additional funding has been received in Austria, Australia, Canada and Denmark and we are still seeking further funding to extend its scope. Ursula Huws is the project director and the lead partner is the Institute for Employment Studies.

The partnership includes three national statistics offices as well as research institutes and consultants and is funded by the European Commission's Information Society Technologies Programme..

JANUS
