This wooden cup, 42 cm high, was made by Jack Young, wheelwright and joiner of Woolley Moor, and presented by him to Woolley United Football Team because they never won anything. Jack Young and his wife Catherine Smedley and daughter Jessie emigrated to New Zealand about 1920. |
