On Saturday 23 February 2002 at Esporta in Chiswick, West
London, Dale Moore and Nigel Townsend, both 5th Dans of Hampton
Jujitsu Club, and their teams became World Record holders!
They succeeded in breaking the Guiness World Record for the
most judo throws performed in one hour, previously set at
1,418 throws by a Belgian judo club on 21 October 2000.
We are proud to say that Dale and Nigel completed 3,786 throws,
thus thoroughly smashing the previous record. Guiness World
Records have now officially confirmed this fantastic achievement.
