To afford each visitor the opportunity to maximise their enjoyment of Il Girasole, we limit the number of guests. This allows us to tailor specific programmes to specific needs - whether it be simple rest and pampering or more active past times - visits to Macerata opera, vineyards or local restaurants.

Everyone is met at either Rome or Ancona airports (3 hours and 1 hour's drive respectively). To alleviate any concern of facing Italian traffic protocol, guests are driven everywhere they wish to go during their stay. Should visitors prefer to organise their own car rental, we will arrange to meet in the local village. Initially, because of its isolated location, Il Girasole, is a little difficult to find.
All meals at the house are included and we serve local wines. Much thought and pride is taken in serving only the freshest local and home grown produce. Because of the glories of food in Le Marche, we include three visits to restaurants and arrange in advance a menu based on the strengths of the Marchigiani cooking styles. Wines are prematched to enhance the natural flavours of the meals.
Duncan and Michelle Graham live in a converted barn on the grounds. They speak English and Italian and are available 24 hours per day. Laundry, cleaning, food and beverages are included.
To avoid duplication of bookings, we would recommend only one person in your company having the right to determine a guest list. With each booking we would ask you to include the reason for the visit - incentive, stress reduction, honeymoon, vacation, etc. and we will then contact that person to arrange a pro-forma itinerary.
