Registration FeeThis is currently £100 for UK-based providers, and £250 for providers whose principal administration is outside the UK. This will be deducted in full from the assessment fee if a full submission is made within six months of registration. Assessment FeeThis covers the assessment process. The amount will vary, depending on the scale and timing of the assessment required, and is agreed between ODL QC and the provider following application for assessment. As a guide, the assessment of most small and medium-sized providers offering only a limited range of courses can normally be accomplished for £600. This covers visits within the UK, one Specialist Assessor for first accreditations and the Reporting Assessor. It can be reduced in special circumstances. It will be more if:

We may ask for a deposit when you apply for assessment, if you are a registered but non-accredited provider, or if you are based overseas. Annual FeesThese are charged to all accredited providers and are based on a small percentage of their income from their open and distance learning provision. Cheques should be made payable to ODL QC. All fees are non-refundable. |
