"The church, first built by the Normans and refashioned in medieval days, was rebuilt last century after much of its walls had been blown down in a storm.  The lower stages of the Norman tower remain, with a 15th century doorway and a medieval window, and on the west front is a big sundial [visible in the photo]...."
