SKYGROUP payment scheme for hour building pilots

This scheme allows you to fly for very low hourly rates. This is achieved by paying £65 (sterling) per month (reduced to £55 for 2009) by standing order, which is payable for a minimum period of 6 months. No capital outlay required. The SKYGROUP Scheme is not available to ab-initio Student pilots. The student rate for PPL training is shown under 'Private Pilots licence training' below:

Private Pilots Licence training

Student Pilots only. Flight Training rates at Kemble on Beagle Pup 150 aircraft are the dual instruction 'Pay as you go' rates. Buy flying in advance and get up to 10% discount.

£230 plus cost of chosen aircraft. Full briefing notes included.

Ground School
£30 per LONG BRIEFING, normally 1.5 hours (plus travelling expenses over 10 miles).

Annual fees
£100 Regular pilot membership. for 2009 discounted to £65!

Returnable key deposit
£20 (includes all aircraft).

'Prang Club' insurance
£40pa covers insurance excess of £500 per single incident per year.

When joining or checking out on SKYSPORT UK aircraft, your initial check list will be provided free!

Extra copies of Pup and Bulldog check lists are obtained at a cost of £10.00 each

Pilot Handling notes

A copy of Pilot's handling notes is kept in the aircraft document folder. Personal copies are available; Pup 150 and Bulldog: £15.00.

Postage and Packing

Add £1.50 for postage for check lists, handling notes.
