Jim Ryder is well known on the British Country Circuit. With his deep voice and mischievous twinkle in his eye, he has played in hundreds of venues and festivals throughout the UK and Europe. He is a superb entertainer as well as being a singer.
Joining him on stage these days is his son Adam. From the early age of sever years, Adam was interested in music and his father caught him playing a version of “We will Rock you” by Queen on his grandmother’s keyboard - needless to say, he soon had his own instrument. When he was seventeen he decided that he would like to play lead guitar and work with his father on stage so the keyboard was replaced. At the time, Jim did not take the thought of his son joining him too seriously but after seeing the speed at which he learned and being told by one of the country’s top guitar tutors, Mike Clarke, that Adam was a genius, he realised that this could and would become a possibility.
So, the father and son duo was formed. Trailing around the country circuit they are picking up comments such as “The choice of material was as usual of the topmost quality.
