Playing lead & rhythm guitars, 5 string bass and harmonica’s with two lead vocalists and supported by their own backing tracks, all instrumentation is played and recorded by them in their own studio giving a full 6 piece sound. Guitars, Lead/Harmony vocals and programming.
Tony has worked with numerous artistes including Chris Farlowe, Colin Blunstone & Leo Lyons, of ‘TEN YEARS AFTER’ in ‘THE KICK’ who had 2 albums released in Europe & Japan with tours in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. The last band he worked with was ‘NEVER THE BRIDE’ and with them he toured Europe & USA. Now one of the most respected guitarists in the country he not only performs with PLAIN LOCO but programmes drums for many other UK acts.
STEVE JAY
Lead Vocals, 5 String Bass & Harmonica’s.
Founder member Steve, spent 7 years with ‘Capricorn’
a vocal harmony group who won the the World Popular
Song Contest in Japan & made No.4 in their charts for
8 weeks. With them he worked extensively in the UK &
abroad including Radio & TV appearances. He then
joined the Garry Blackmore Band for seven years
followed by the top Comedy Showgroup ‘SWEET
ILLUSION’.
In 1993. wanting a change, he formed “PLAIN LOCO”.
Together Steve & Tony have forged a name for themselves appearing at all of the major Venues & Festivals
in the UK & Europe. They really ARE a 2 piece Band!!
