Perfect Strangers are a recently formed band who offer a good range of traditional country music. Fully live with a lead guitarist/vocalist, bass guitarist/ vocalist, drummer/
vocalist and steel player, they have a good country sound.
PERFECT STRANGERS are:-
MARK JACOBS - Lead guitar and lead vocals.
Being the “nipper” in the band at age 32 does not deter Mark from having a true love of traditional country music. Despite his young appearance, he has been playing guitar on the country circuit for 16 years with people such as Hank Dalton and Kalibre.
DAVE WHEELHOUSE - Pedal steel guitar
Not only a great player but a bit of a clever engineer, Dave built and plays his very own Sheffield steel guitar. He loves to chat so spends much of his time organising the band’s diary.
RAY LUCKING - Drums and harmony Vocals
Ray is thought of as one of the finest drummers on the circuit who plays with a real passion. He also delivers a find harmony vocal and is a real asset to the band.
TERRY GOODCHILD - Bass guitar & harmony vocals.
Terry is a well known and well respected face on the country music circuit and has given a guiding hand to many a new musician. Recently described as a “good steady bass player and a really nice chap”.
