Jonny Williams has been on the Country Music circuit since
1998, and in that time has travelled the country to entertain
people with his style of Traditional Country. Jonny’s biggest
influences are the real legends of country music, Hank Williams,
George Jones, Hank Snow, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis
to name a few.
When performing around the country, he always puts 100% into
his show and has won several club awards for “Solo Artist of the
Year” even winning “Band of the Year” in Scotland in 2004!!
One of the most prestigious awards was being voted “Solo artist
of the year” by the readers of Cross Country Magazine two
years running.
After travelling the length and breadth of the country
performing over 200 gigs a year, Jonny is still doing what he
has always wanted to do. When asked in a recent magazine I
interview “what is your ambition?” he replied “this is my
ambition, all I ever wanted was to make a living singing and
playing, and that’s exactly what I am doing”
