Gary was born in 1969 in Sutton-in-Ashfield and although travelling up and down the country with his line of work, his loyalty is with this town where he still lives today. Interested in music early in life, at age 15 he learned to play bass guitar and was soon playing alongside his contemporaries in rock bands gaining moderate success with both “Victim” and “Hellraiser”.
Gary’s musical influences have always been varied but he has always harboured a love of Country Music. In 2000 he began performing as a solo artist, converting to six string acoustic guitar, developing a powerful vocal style and building a distinctive stage routine with which he has been entertaining music lovers around the country.
To demonstrate his versatility, Gary also performs rock ‘n’ roll, acoustic ballads and his own material.
In 2003 he was made redundant from his work in the hosiery industry and since than has worked as a full time entertainer. Gary tells us that he would love the opportunity of working more clubs in the South and South West of England so next time you are looking for someone new - give us a call!
