Colin Fidoe & Geoff Bate as Don & Phil Everly
Since their launch in November 2000 at the Midlands Tribute and Look-Alike Awards Ceremony which attracted wide media coverage
from TV, radio and press, they have acquired bookings not only as a
superb self-contained duo, but also on occasion with a full band,
at a variety of venues, from festivals and theme weekends, to cabaret and theatre, appearing with top international acts such as The Bellamy Brothers, Smokie, The Fortunes, Marty Wilde, Quo and also with Albert Lee & Pete Wingfield (both members of the real Everly Brothers band since 1983 ).
Colin is a member of the Beehive Club, the official Everly Brothers Fan Club, and in an effort to go the correct way about doing a tribute, details of their show have been passed on via the fan club newsletter to Don & Phil, and other prominent musicians who play with them.
The sounds of the legendary Everly Brothers have been delighting listeners for over 50 years now, with their incredible sibling harmonies. 1983 saw the long-awaited reunion of the brothers after a bitter 10 year split : it was a truly momentous occasion and concert of a life-time for Don & Phil, and all their fans. This 1983 Reunion Concert at The Royal Albert Hall, London, featuring the more mature Everly Brothers, and packed with all the Everlys’ greatest hits, is the sound-alike / look-alike show which Colin & Geoff now seek to recreate with -
THE EVERLYS EXPERIENCE.
For the past 4 years The Everlys Experience were pleased to have been part of two very different, but both equally successful touring theatre shows:
1. Country Legends of the Grand Old Opry
2. The Red Hot Country
