AN ESTABLISHED FOUR PIECE BAND PERFORMING EXCELLENT COUNTRY MUSIC MAINLY IN THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND
CAPRICORN are one of the long established and popular Country Bands in the South of England now having been working with this type of music for over 20 years. They came together after Robin Williams who had been working in a band, decided that he wanted to scale down to a duo. He advertised for another to join him and that someone, was John Scott. The name “Capricorn” was thought of by Robin’s wife - they both shared this star sign.
After a few years playing in the smaller clubs they added more members and toured as a five piece for several years. With a few personnel changes they finally became the four piece that they are today. What has never changed is their loyalty to country music and this is very obvious when you meet them and listen to their sound.

A native Glaswegian, John totally loves being involved in all aspects of Country music including its history.
Mike Pretty - Vocals and Drums
Mike started with a love of the music of “Cliff and the Shadows” but finding “Country” in 1979 calls it “the real thing!”
Mike Loft - Vocals and Bass Guitar
Originally hooked on the “The Shadows” Mike found “Country” in 1971 and has played and loved it ever since.
Pat O’dea - Vocals and Lead Guitar
Born in Ireland, Pat hasa lifelong affection for his native musical heritage
