Dec 2005 New pages:
- 1891 Census of Matlock & Matlock Bath - transcript of ED15, which is on two pages here as it covers a large number of properties. 969 additional names. This is the last enumeration district to be transcribed and surname indexes are also complete. Matlock Green, Matlock Cliff, Lime Tree Hill, Matlock Town, Riber. This census transcript was done using one of the large viewers at the FRC in London in an attempt to be as accurate as possible in interpretation.
Nov 2005 New page:

Additions to:
- 1901 Census ED 11 now transcribed in full (initially only four pages) and surname indexed - Matlock Green, Matlock Town, Matlock Cliff (848 more names). This work was completed a few weeks ago, but this is the first opportunity I've had to put the transcripts on line.
Oct 2005 Site changes:
-Images. As I felt the Index was getting too cumbersome I have completely redesigned the navigation, creating several new pages to search so that all the old sub headings are on their own page. You now enter through the index and then can choose between any of ten sections to browse through.

- 1891 Census of Matlock & Matlock Bath - transcript of ED14, which is on two pages here as it covers a large number of properties. 1365 additional names and surname indexes of transcripts done to date. Matlock Moor, Hurst, Wellington Street, Rutland Street, Chesterfield Road, Bank Road, Crown Square, New Street. The final district is in preparation, but I do not know when I will be able to finish this at the moment.

These were transcribed in April, but other things prevented me from adding them in. The final two districts are in preparation, but may not be completed for some time.
- 1901 Census ED 10 now transcribed and surname indexed - Dale Road, Holt Lane, Snitterton Road, Crown Square, Lime Tree Hill and a little of Chesterfield Road (748 more names); ED 13 also now transcribed and surname indexed - Matlock Moor, Lumsdale, Bentley Bridge, Matlock Cliff (a further 408 names)

- Rockside, the Former Matlock Hydro. We've been following the progress of the restoration of this building, and now include a series of photographs of both the exterior and interior. When the tower was added there was some remarkable craftsmanship included in the building.

Feb 2005 New pages:
- Site Map : there is now a site map for the Matlock and Matlock Bath website. It covers only the Matlock and Matlock Bath sections of "The Andrews Pages". The only item listed and linked more than once is the QuickList, and this is purely for information purposes.
Many pages on the site are already linked to this page through a link at the bottom, similar to what is shown in the footer of this page. The remaining pages will be linked over the coming weeks.
Additions to:
-Bemroses' Guide to Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, &c' - a general update for the Bemrose pages. You'll now see an illuminated letter B at the top of the menu bar on the left hand side of each page. This was scanned from a book in my collection (Cox's "Churches") and reduced in size.
- The Wolley Manuscripts, Matlock have an illuminated letter "W" in the same position.

Jan 2005 New pages:
- Matlock St. Giles Parish Church Burials from the Bishops' Transcripts. 369 additional names covering the period 1668 - 1692. Altogether now 5274 names from the BTs.
- 1881 Census for Matlock & District. The whole of the 1881 census for Matlock & District is now on site, so now includes Enumeration Districts 12 - 17 (i.e. Matlock Dale, Matlock Bank, Matlock Green and Cliff, Lumsdale, Riber, Starkholmes, High & Low Lees, etc.). The Surnames Index has been redone to include everyone in these additional districts. You will find some differences in interpretaion from the LDS version of this census and there is one more person than the official statistics record (see Miscellany).
