Since World War 2 there has been an influx of such industries as light engineering into our area (e. g. the small industrial estate on the Alcester-Kinwarton border) but this Gazetteer has paid little attention to anything after 1940. The newer industrial sites will, no doubt, be of interest to the industrial archaeologist in 50 years time. For the present, we hope that readers have found our record of the past of some interest and that they will take note of any sites which we have missed and do some recording themselves.
