If you can help by recording dragonflies and damselflies over the summer, they can be submitted to the website www.dragonflies.org.uk  These can be casual records from your garden or any other site in the area.

 PARBOLD  TREE  WARDEN  GROUP 

We are a small group who meet every Tuesday morning at the Village Hall from 9.30 to 11.30 am.   Their work includes maintaining various public areas of gardening, hedge cutting, litter picking, bulb planting and some woodland management.

The aim of the Group is to promote the protection of wildlife and the enhancement of the landscapes of Parbold for the benefit of the community and to assist in maintaining the Biological Heritage Site at Chapel field, which is owned by Parbold Parish Council.  Also to promote the site for education purposes.

The Group meets every 2 months in the Red Lion, Newburgh to discuss activities and promote events. The next meeting of the Group will be held on Tuesday September 16th which will be the AGM followed by the usual bi-monthly meeting at 7.30 pm at The Red Lion, Newburgh.
