Academic qualifications
My first degree is in chemistry, with pharmacology. My doctoral research was concerned with the biochemistry of membrane proteins in the sympathetic nervous system. I did post-doctoral studies in enzymology before joining the commercial world.

Commercial experience
I have eight years' experience in the worldwide marketing of chemicals and apparatus for scientific research. Following this, I spent eight years in pharmaceutical marketing, much of them as international product manager for a major ethical product, at one of the top-ten pharmaceuticals companies. In between these two corporate positions, I completed MBA studies at a leading European business school. These studies taught me to look at problems from many different perspectives to identify “where the shoe pinches”.

Consultancy activities
As an independent consultant and freelance writer since 1993, I have helped a variety of clients to find appropriate solutions to their communication needs. In some cases I have worked directly for the client company, while in others I have teamed up with suppliers such as communications agencies or website design companies to complement their skills and offer an optimal solution to clients.

Language skills
I speak swedish and german as well as english and would be happy to do so if this will assist our collaboration. I can also work from documents in french, spanish, italian, danish, norwegian or dutch, but do not author materials in languages other than english. |
